Collected Pinus Sylvestris

The hunt, anticipation, inspiration. Is it collectable at all? Love the feeling of searching for the right type of topography that gives the best odds of finding material for bonsai. So meny parameters that needs to be met before i decide to have a go at it and try to excavate it from it´s location. This time i found a yamadori Scots pine (Pinus Sylvestris) that caught my interest, with good movement in the old gnarled trunk, good branching and most important a solid root system that could be kept intact.

Potted in a large container and hopfully it will respond well and regain it´s strenght over the next two years. After that i will begin to think of shape, pruning, and branch selection.
